Cheng Hong Siang Tng

In 1974 eight public-spirited followers of Master Song Dafeng started a service to support the needy in the Paya Lebar area. Cheng Hong Siang Tng was officially registered on 6 Apr. 1976 and its medical service at 127 Lorong Tai Seng was officially opened on 22 Apr. 1978.

Lang acquisition in the Paya Lebar area saw CHST relocating multiple times and eventually Cheng Hong joined with Charn Mao Hern Kew Huang Keng to develop united temple “Cheng Hong Siang Tng Kew Huang Keng” at Arumugam Road. CHST‘s new premises was officially open on 23 Feb. 1990.

On 2 Jul. 2004 Cheng Hong Welfare Service Society was set up and awarded Institute of Public Character status in Oct. 2004
